Filament Geotextile: Filament geotextile (GB/T 17639) is a continuous-filament PET nonwoven with higher strength, puncture resistance and durability than staple geotextile at the same weight. Typical uses: filtration and separation in waterworks, subgrade reinforcement, slope protection, and protection layers above/below geomembranes in landfills. Common weights are 200-600 g/m², width 1-6m.
Filament geotextile is made of continuous polyester filaments by spunbond needle-punching. At equal weight it outperforms staple fabric in tensile and burst strength, aging and creep resistance — ideal for filtration, reinforcement and membrane protection. Produced to GB/T 17639.
